The VISION
This ministry is yet another project of Isaiah 54 Project. It deals with transforming women who don’t recognize their potential; that have a poor image of themselves; poor self esteem.
Women, who have been beaten down by negative life experiences. This ministry will minister to young women by using the Word of God to build their faith, to give them a peak and an awakening of “How God sees them” and eventually see themselves in the same light. This ministry will help them explore their gifts, talents, abilities in God and learn how to put them in use. They will develop their knowledge of God through His Word to see the transformation of themselves by faith, working on the inside of them shinning on the outside of them through their new found confidence, self-worth, and self-value in themselves. Their spirit will be convinced
that they “know who they are in Christ Jesus” and no more being defined by man. It will show in their walk, talk, posture, appearance, character, and ambition.
Several tools will be used during our meetings to help teach the women who they are:
· A Gifting test will be administered.
· Reading Positive Confessions “out loud” in every meeting.
· God’s Word through lyrics in Gospel music
· Teaching on different subjects through talks, Christian CD’s, and DVD’s to heal the women of their sins, poverty, diseases, and insecurities.
· Invite speakers to come in to teach on other subjects that will help them in everyday life such as: finances, dating,
· Have professional women come in to share what they do, and how they started. Learn about (entrepreneurship).
· Have beauty day, jewelry party, etc.
· Share time, where the women have opportunity to communicate their negative
experiences together and allow God to intervene by helping them forgive, push through it, and overcome it.
.
Arts & Crafts and other activities to help teach team work and to help bring out creativity.
